The first few months with Tillandsia Bulbosa were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting soaking in water for 20 to 30 minutes once or twice a week right was the turning point.

extraordinary architectural forms from spiralling to globe-shaped became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece it gets the attention it deserves. flowering triggered by lengthening days in spring or summer was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: scale insects or mealybug in the leaf bases. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
