Container growing Tillandsia Bulbosa — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so a glass globe or terrarium with open ventilation is my only option for Tillandsia Bulbosa. It absolutely works — with the right attention to providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer you can get excellent results in containers.
flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after is fully achievable even in a pot. flowering triggered by lengthening days in spring or summer is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: base rot from water not drying within four hours of soaking. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
