Pest battle with Tillandsia Capitata — and how I won
I had a serious problem with dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves on my Tillandsia Capitata earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.
Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece and improved my attention to providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer. most vigorous growth in warm humid summer months was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
