I had a serious problem with dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves on my Tillandsia Stricta earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.

Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate flowers only once in a lifetime but produces offsetting pups after, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in a glass globe or terrarium with open ventilation and improved my attention to soaking in water for 20 to 30 minutes once or twice a week. flowering triggered by lengthening days in spring or summer was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
