Container growing Tillandsia Xerographica — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so grouped together in a bowl as a centrepiece is my only option for Tillandsia Xerographica. It absolutely works — with the right attention to providing bright indirect light or outdoor shade in summer you can get excellent results in containers.
surprisingly tough once watering rhythm is established is fully achievable even in a pot. flowering triggered by lengthening days in spring or summer is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: dehydration shown by rolled or curled leaves. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
