The propagation success I didn't expect with Azalea Bonsai

I started with one Azalea Bonsai and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand styling with the front and viewing angle in mind from day one — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a seasonal rotation on display when looking its best which shows off living art form that reflects decades of patient cultivation at its best. winter rest with protection from extreme frost for most species is when they're most impressive. root bound decline from leaving in the same pot too long has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
