People describe Cherry Blossom Bonsai as easy and I'd push back on that slightly. watering daily in summer as bonsai pots dry out fast needs consistent attention and over-wiring causing wire bite scarring on branches can undermine progress quickly if ignored.

Where Cherry Blossom Bonsai is genuinely underrated is the beauty. deeply personal relationship between artist and tree is extraordinary when you see it in person. I display it in a dedicated display stand at eye level for appreciation and it gets comments from everyone who sees it. vigorous growing season requiring wiring and pinching is the time to really understand what this plant offers. Not for the truly neglectful gardener, but absolutely worth the attention it requires.
