Honest review: Juniper Bonsai is rewarding but over-wiring causing wire bite scarring on branches is real

Juniper Bonsai is a genuinely satisfying plant to grow, but I want to be upfront about one thing: over-wiring causing wire bite scarring on branches. I've dealt with it twice now and it takes consistent attention to manage.

Beyond that, seasonal change including blossom, foliage colour, and bare winter silhouette makes it one of my favourites in the collection. I keep it in a purpose-built outdoor bonsai bench with correct height which suits it well. Learning about styling with the front and viewing angle in mind from day one has been essential. vigorous growing season requiring wiring and pinching is worth waiting for — the plant really justifies itself then. Four stars because of that persistent issue.
