Three things I wish someone had told me before growing Juniper Bonsai

After growing Juniper Bonsai for over a year here is what I'd tell a beginner.

First: styling with the front and viewing angle in mind from day one is not optional — it's the foundation everything else depends on. Second: drying out and death from missing a day's watering in summer will happen and you should know how to handle it before it does. Third: a seasonal rotation on display when looking its best genuinely matters — the right position unlocks miniaturisation of full-grown tree characteristics in a way a poor position never will. winter rest with protection from extreme frost for most species is the payoff for getting all of this right. It's worth every bit of effort.
