The first few months with Bunny Ears Cactus were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting protecting from frost below -5°C even for hardy varieties right was the turning point.

architectural sculptural form that needs no flowers to impress became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a greenhouse or conservatory staging it gets the attention it deserves. rapid growth during the warm summer months was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure.
