Beginner success with Saguaro — here is what helped
As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Saguaro. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to watering sparingly and only in the active growing season.
I grow mine in a greenhouse or conservatory staging which is working really well. spectacular but brief blooms that can appear overnight was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. flowering in late spring to early summer has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring spider mites in warm dry indoor conditions, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
