The unexpected joy of growing Cherry Tree

I planted Cherry Tree without expecting much and it's become one of the most satisfying things in my garden. dual ornamental and productive value in a garden is something I couldn't have predicted from looking at it in a nursery. You only understand it once the plant is established and performing.

I keep it in a fan-trained shape on a warm boundary fence which is perfect for it. mulching around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds was the thing I got lucky getting right early. blossom opening in spring requiring frost protection stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it. late frost damage to blossom in exposed positions is a real thing — just check regularly and deal with it quickly.
