I nearly gave up on Lemon Tree after three months of mediocre results. Then I focused properly on formative pruning in the first three years to build good structure and within a few weeks the difference was dramatic.

It now lives in an orchard with mixed varieties for cross-pollination and has genuinely transformed that spot. harvest of home-grown fruit with exceptional fresh flavour is even more impressive in person than I expected from photos. harvest from late summer through autumn depending on variety was spectacular — worth every bit of patience. If you're struggling with yours, formative pruning in the first three years to build good structure is almost certainly the issue.
