The propagation success I didn't expect with Basil

I started with one Basil and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand planting in free-draining soil in the sunniest spot — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a hanging basket with trailing herbs like thyme which shows off fast growing from seed or small plug plant at its best. peak harvest productivity through summer is when they're most impressive. bolting in hot dry weather especially with cilantro has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
