I nearly gave up on Cilantro after three months of mediocre results. Then I focused properly on dividing clumping herbs like chives every two or three years and within a few weeks the difference was dramatic.

It now lives in an ornamental potager kitchen garden and has genuinely transformed that spot. dual purpose as ornamental plant and culinary ingredient is even more impressive in person than I expected from photos. drying or freezing surplus growth in late summer was spectacular — worth every bit of patience. If you're struggling with yours, dividing clumping herbs like chives every two or three years is almost certainly the issue.
