Container growing Cilantro — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so a kitchen windowsill close to the cooking area is my only option for Cilantro. It absolutely works — with the right attention to harvesting regularly to prevent plants going to seed you can get excellent results in containers.
fast growing from seed or small plug plant is fully achievable even in a pot. peak harvest productivity through summer is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: bolting in hot dry weather especially with cilantro. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
