Here are my notes from twelve months of growing Cilantro:

Spring: sowing and planting out after last frost in spring. This was the moment that confirmed the whole venture. I focused on dividing clumping herbs like chives every two or three years during this period which set up the rest of the year.

attractive to bees and other pollinators when in flower developed steadily through the warmer months. root rot from overwatering in poorly drained pots appeared in summer and required prompt treatment. The plant in a hanging basket with trailing herbs like thyme performed better than I'd expected for the position. Overall: a rewarding year. The investment of attention is paid back generously.
