Slow start but a stunning finish with Rosemary
The first few months with Rosemary were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting harvesting regularly to prevent plants going to seed right was the turning point.
dual purpose as ornamental plant and culinary ingredient became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a kitchen windowsill close to the cooking area it gets the attention it deserves. peak harvest productivity through summer was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: mint spreading invasively through garden beds. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
