Thyme seasonal highlights — a year in review
I've been growing Thyme for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. drying or freezing surplus growth in late summer was the clear high point — everything you're told about Thyme at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.
aromatic foliage that intensifies in heat is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a hanging basket with trailing herbs like thyme as the ideal position. pinching out flower buds on basil to extend leaf production was the lesson I took into next year. mint spreading invasively through garden beds is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
