Slow start but a stunning finish with Peace Lily
The first few months with Peace Lily were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting wiping dusty leaves with a damp cloth to improve light absorption right was the turning point.
air-purifying properties in enclosed indoor spaces became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a bright indirect windowsill away from heating vents it gets the attention it deserves. summer growth needing more frequent watering and feeding was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: fungus gnats in consistently damp potting compost. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
