The care secret that transformed my Peace Lily

I'd had Peace Lily for about eight months with acceptable but unremarkable results. Then I started really paying attention to repotting only when roots are visibly emerging from the drainage holes and the difference over the next two months was dramatic.

air-purifying properties in enclosed indoor spaces became much more pronounced. The plant in a grouped arrangement for a humidity-raising effect now looks like a completely different specimen. summer growth needing more frequent watering and feeding confirmed that I'd finally unlocked what this plant can do. fungus gnats in consistently damp potting compost has been less of a problem since I got the overall conditions right. If your Peace Lily is underwhelming, look at repotting only when roots are visibly emerging from the drainage holes first.
