Beginner success with Peace Lily — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Peace Lily. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to rotating pots a quarter turn each week for even growth.

I grow mine in a grouped arrangement for a humidity-raising effect which is working really well. wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. slowing down in autumn as light levels drop has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring fungus gnats in consistently damp potting compost, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
