Pest battle with Pothos — and how I won

I had a serious problem with brown leaf tips from low humidity or fluoride in tap water on my Pothos earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.

Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate air-purifying properties in enclosed indoor spaces, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in a plant shelf or bookcase as a green interior feature and improved my attention to wiping dusty leaves with a damp cloth to improve light absorption. minimal watering and no feeding through winter was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
