Container growing Rubber Plant — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so an office desk with a grow light supplement is my only option for Rubber Plant. It absolutely works — with the right attention to checking soil moisture before watering rather than watering on a fixed schedule you can get excellent results in containers.
year-round green presence improving mood and productivity is fully achievable even in a pot. summer growth needing more frequent watering and feeding is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: fungus gnats in consistently damp potting compost. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
