Snake Plant is a genuinely satisfying plant to grow, but I want to be upfront about one thing: brown leaf tips from low humidity or fluoride in tap water. I've dealt with it twice now and it takes consistent attention to manage.

Beyond that, air-purifying properties in enclosed indoor spaces makes it one of my favourites in the collection. I keep it in a bright indirect windowsill away from heating vents which suits it well. Learning about rotating pots a quarter turn each week for even growth has been essential. growth spurt when longer days arrive in spring is worth waiting for — the plant really justifies itself then. Four stars because of that persistent issue.
