I don't have a garden so a hanging planter for trailing varieties is my only option for ZZ Plant. It absolutely works — with the right attention to wiping dusty leaves with a damp cloth to improve light absorption you can get excellent results in containers.

straightforward propagation by division, cuttings, or offsets is fully achievable even in a pot. growth spurt when longer days arrive in spring is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: brown leaf tips from low humidity or fluoride in tap water. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
