I've been growing Cymbidium for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. triggering a new flower spike with cooler autumn nights was the clear high point — everything you're told about Cymbidium at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

pseudobulbs that store water and nutrients is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a north or east-facing windowsill as the ideal position. providing bright indirect light away from direct afternoon sun was the lesson I took into next year. failure to rebloom without a temperature drop trigger is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
