Container growing Sago Palm — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so a Mediterranean or exotic themed garden border is my only option for Sago Palm. It absolutely works — with the right attention to wrapping the crown with fleece in winter for borderline hardy species you can get excellent results in containers.
association with warmth and holiday destinations worldwide is fully achievable even in a pot. fastest growth during the warmest summer months is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: red palm weevil damage in warmer European regions. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
