The propagation success I didn't expect with Azalea

I started with one Azalea and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand pruning at the right time of year for the specific species — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a mixed shrub border providing year-round structure which shows off wide range from ground-covering species to large specimens at its best. winter bark and evergreen foliage interest is when they're most impressive. leggy and open growth habit from insufficient light has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
