Slow start but a stunning finish with Lavender
The first few months with Lavender were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting deadheading where appropriate to extend the flowering season right was the turning point.

Displayed in a mixed shrub border providing year-round structure it gets the attention it deserves. autumn berries and foliage colour was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: dieback from harsh winters on marginally hardy varieties. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
