The propagation success I didn't expect with Lavender
I started with one Lavender and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand deadheading where appropriate to extend the flowering season — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.
I display them in a large container for a terrace or courtyard which shows off permanent woody structure providing year-round garden framework at its best. summer flowering on the current season's growth is when they're most impressive. leggy and open growth habit from insufficient light has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
