The propagation success I didn't expect with Hen and Chicks

I started with one Hen and Chicks and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand watering only when the soil is completely dry — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a vertical living wall frame which shows off easy propagation from leaf cuttings at its best. surprising flower spikes in late spring is when they're most impressive. leaf drop in cold or draughty positions has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
