Experienced grower's notes on Jade Plant

I've been growing plants seriously for over fifteen years and Jade Plant remains a reliable favourite. For anyone starting out: the most critical thing is providing at least six hours of bright indirect light. Everything else follows from that.

I've been growing mine in a sunny windowsill in a terracotta pot for three seasons now and the results are consistently good. water-storing fleshy leaves in geometric rosettes is what makes it worth coming back to year after year. surprising flower spikes in late spring is when I show it off — it earns its place fully then.
