Struggling with Anthurium — would appreciate advice

I want to be honest: I'm not getting great results with Anthurium and I'm not entirely sure why. failure to flower indoors without sufficient light intensity has been a recurring problem despite my attempts to address it. I've been focusing on protecting from cold draughts and air conditioning vents based on everything I've read.

dramatic large leaves or flowers that create an instant impact is there in glimpses, which tells me the plant has potential in my conditions. I have it in a hotel lobby-style statement interior display which might not be ideal. bringing back indoors before first autumn frost showed some improvement. Two stars for now — not the plant's fault, but not a success yet. I'll update if things improve.
