Slow start but a stunning finish with Bird of Paradise
The first few months with Bird of Paradise were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting providing high humidity through pebble trays or regular misting right was the turning point.

Displayed in a warm humid conservatory or heated greenhouse it gets the attention it deserves. reduced watering rest period in winter was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: yellowing leaves from overwatering or cold root temperatures. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
