Slow start but a stunning finish with Monstera Deliciosa
The first few months with Monstera Deliciosa were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting watering generously in summer and reducing in winter right was the turning point.
natural air-purifying properties noted in indoor conditions became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a summer patio with shelter from wind and cold nights it gets the attention it deserves. reduced watering rest period in winter was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: spider mite infestations in hot dry conditions. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
