Pest battle with Monstera Deliciosa — and how I won

I had a serious problem with leaf browning from low humidity in centrally heated rooms on my Monstera Deliciosa earlier this year. Caught it late and had to work hard to bring the plant back. The experience was frustrating but educational.

Now that it's healthy again I can fully appreciate exotic appearance that transforms any indoor or outdoor space, which is remarkable. I've repositioned it in a bright living room away from draughts and improved my attention to maintaining temperatures above 15°C throughout the year. bringing back indoors before first autumn frost was the proof that the plant had fully recovered — genuinely beautiful. Moral of the story: inspect regularly and catch problems early.
