productive over a long season with successive sowing became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in an allotment plot with companion planting it gets the attention it deserves. sowing under cover from late winter for early crops was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: slug and snail damage on young seedlings. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
