Container growing Spinach — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so a grow bag on a paved patio or balcony is my only option for Spinach. It absolutely works — with the right attention to consistent deep watering rather than frequent shallow watering you can get excellent results in containers.
far superior flavour versus supermarket produce is fully achievable even in a pot. sowing under cover from late winter for early crops is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: blight in warm wet summers especially on tomatoes. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
