The care secret that transformed my Spinach

I'd had Spinach for about eight months with acceptable but unremarkable results. Then I started really paying attention to rotating crops each year to prevent soil-borne disease build-up and the difference over the next two months was dramatic.

full control over growing methods and chemical use became much more pronounced. The plant in a raised bed in full sun with good-quality compost now looks like a completely different specimen. peak harvest in mid to late summer confirmed that I'd finally unlocked what this plant can do. slug and snail damage on young seedlings has been less of a problem since I got the overall conditions right. If your Spinach is underwhelming, look at rotating crops each year to prevent soil-borne disease build-up first.
