Zucchini seasonal highlights — a year in review
I've been growing Zucchini for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. planting out and establishing after last frost was the clear high point — everything you're told about Zucchini at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.
far superior flavour versus supermarket produce is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a decorative potager with flowers and vegetables mixed as the ideal position. consistent deep watering rather than frequent shallow watering was the lesson I took into next year. aphid colonies on brassicas and soft growth is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
