Slow start but a stunning finish with Jasmine
The first few months with Jasmine were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting training new growth to the support structure while still flexible right was the turning point.
dramatic seasonal transformations from bare stems to full cover became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a house wall with appropriate fixings for support it gets the attention it deserves. peak flowering display in summer was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: pruning at the wrong time removing next season's flower buds. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
