I planted Morning Glory without expecting much and it's become one of the most satisfying things in my garden. many varieties offering fragrance, colour, and wildlife value is something I couldn't have predicted from looking at it in a nursery. You only understand it once the plant is established and performing.

I keep it in a boundary wall or fence for screening and softening which is perfect for it. pruning at the correct season for the specific variety was the thing I got lucky getting right early. bare structure in winter revealing the interesting stem framework stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it. roots disturbing foundations if planted too close to buildings is a real thing — just check regularly and deal with it quickly.
