I've been growing Wisteria for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. bare structure in winter revealing the interesting stem framework was the clear high point — everything you're told about Wisteria at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

dramatic seasonal transformations from bare stems to full cover is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a trellis panel as a garden divider as the ideal position. pruning at the correct season for the specific variety was the lesson I took into next year. pruning at the wrong time removing next season's flower buds is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
