I'd been training Boxing for two years when I picked up an injury that kept me out for four months. Coming back was harder mentally than physically. My jab-cross combination had regressed and southpaw stance I'd taken for granted needed rebuilding.

first amateur bout experience was what brought me back to myself — about six weeks into the comeback. hand injuries from poor wrapping technique was a greater factor in the comeback phase than it had been before injury. I'm now back to pre-injury level and training smarter. The sport is more rewarding now than it was before, because I know what it feels like to miss it.
