Tried Swimming expecting one thing, found something completely different

I signed up for Swimming expecting a straightforward fitness class. What I found was a technical discipline that demands real skill development. The underwater dolphin kicks I was shown in week one is still something I'm refining now, 16 months later. tapering gave me a framework for understanding why things work, not just what to do.

the full-body fatigue after a hard set was the surprise that hooked me. technique errors entrenching without coaching was the reality check that made me respect the sport. The tech suit is worth the investment — don't cut corners. I came for fitness and found a practice. That's a much better outcome.
