I've been competing in Yoga for three years now, training five days a week. I want to give an honest picture of what the competitive path looks like.

The technical demands compound. downward dog alignment at beginner level and at competition level are almost different skills. Understanding Ashtanga primary series deeply enough to deploy it under pressure takes years, not months. Studying Seane Corn's approach changed how I think about the game entirely. how breathwork calms the nervous system is what makes it worth the commitment. pretentious studio culture is the tax you pay. Not everyone needs to compete — but if you have the itch, chase it. It will make you better in every direction.
