Disappointed — expected better reliability

Bought on strong reviews and brand reputation. Ongoing electronic issues: infotainment crashed twice, emergency braking triggered unexpectedly three times. Dealer slow to acknowledge. Driving experience fine but reliability has soured everything.

Mixed feelings after six months

Excited at purchase, reality more subdued. Positives: generous space, good fuel economy. Negatives: touchscreen freezes, rear wiper smears, lane-keeping too aggressive. Not bad but needs polish.

Surprisingly fun to drive

Bought for practicality, expected dull. Wrong. Chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, eager engine. Makes you look forward to driving.

Quality control issues from day one

My 2024 BMW M3 came with several fit-and-finish issues straight from the factory — a door seal that whistles at speed, a dashboard rattle that took three dealer visits to fix, and a paint imperfection on the boot lid. The underlying car may be good but mine had a bad build day. Disappointing for thi…

The infotainment lag is annoying, the interior feels plasticky in places, and I've seen better driving dynamics at t…

Solid choice — does most things very well

The 2024 BMW M3 hits a sweet spot for me. Refined enough for the motorway, economical enough for commuting, and practical enough for family duties. I'd have rated it five stars but the infotainment system has a frustrating habit of not connecting to my phone immediately on start-up. Software update …

Excellent value at the spec I chose

I opted for the mid-spec 2024 BMW M3 and hit the sweet spot. All the features I actually use are included without the premium of the top trim. Standard kit is generous — heated seats, wireless Apple CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert all came as standard. Build quality feel…
