The 2023 Dodge Challenger. The last of the old-school muscle cars — brutish, retro, and utterly characterful.

Disappointed — expected better reliability

Bought on strong reviews and brand reputation. Ongoing electronic issues: infotainment crashed twice, emergency braking triggered unexpectedly three times. Dealer slow to acknowledge. Driving experience fine but reliability has soured everything.

Worst car purchase I've ever made

Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Mixed feelings after six months

Excited at purchase, reality more subdued. Positives: generous space, good fuel economy. Negatives: touchscreen freezes, rear wiper smears, lane-keeping too aggressive. Not bad but needs polish.

Impressed after 12 months

Sceptical when I ordered — playing it safe rather than exciting myself. A year in, genuinely impressed. More refined than expected, seats comfortable on long trips, nothing unexpected has gone wrong.

Absolutely love it — couldn't be happier

Picked up my 2023 Dodge Challenger and have zero complaints. Build quality is exceptional, driving experience puts a smile on my face every commute. Fuel economy beats EPA estimates. Highly recommend.

Good but expected more

Competent, reliable, comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want spending this much. Hard plastic panels in places, engine note unpleasant. Test-drive the competition before committing.

Ongoing reliability nightmare

Fourteen months, more time at the dealer than my driveway. Turbo failed at 8,000 miles, infotainment blank at 11,000 miles, persistent vibration they cannot locate. First and last experience with this brand.

Worth every penny

Spent more than budget allowed but the 2023 Dodge Challenger justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.
