Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

At this price point the 2023 Land Rover Discovery is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Excellent car overall. Strong points: ride quality, interior space, standard safety tech. Weak points: fiddly touchscreen, thick rear quarter pillar blind spot. Neither a dealbreaker. Would buy again.

Fourteen months, more time at the dealer than my driveway. Turbo failed at 8,000 miles, infotainment blank at 11,000 miles, persistent vibration they cannot locate. First and last experience with this brand.

Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Reliability has been below the brand's reputation. Two dealer visits in the first year for issues that shouldn't exist on a new car. Interior quality also doesn't match the asking price.

Three years into owning my 2023 Land Rover Discovery and I just had it valued for part-exchange — I was genuinely shocked how much it's retained. Depreciation has been far lower than I budgeted for. The car itself has been completely trouble-free. If you're thinking long-term, this is a smart buy.
